Better Things Guide helps people choose products for a specific purpose. Our first collection covers cameras; the wider goal is useful buying advice across everyday categories.

We explain the reasoning, evidence and compromises behind a recommendation. A top-five list is a shortlist for a particular job, not a claim that one product is best for everybody.

Starting with transparency

This launch is built from manufacturer specifications and independent editorial reviews. We have not personally tested the cameras. We do not invent owner feedback, star ratings, lab results or staff experience.

As the collection grows, published guides will identify what was tested, what was researched and what changed.
